Yan Tomimoto is a Senior Associate at Bailey, Elizondo & Brinkman LLC, having joined in December 2009. She is a seasoned and hands on financial and entrepreneurial executive with over fourteen years of experience in finance, cash flow modeling, due diligence, acquisitions and development, including significant experience in the real estate industry. Ms. Tomimoto has worked with companies in and out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
Ms. Tomimoto has managed the day to day operations of bankruptcy cases, including creating and preparing monthly operating reports, 13 week cash flow statements, debt repayment projections, liquidation analysis and claim deficiency analysis. She also successfully negotiated and restructured portfolio workout loans, raised significant sources of capital, prepared financial business plans and spearheaded cost reduction initiatives. Ms. Tomimoto's most recent bankruptcy cases include a residential real estate developer, a regional shopping mall, a fast food franchise operator, a technology company, and a real estate developer. These assignments have ranged from $40 million to over $1 billion in liabilities.
Her prior experience includes Director of Financial Analysis and Planning for one of the largest residential real estate builders and developers in Sacramento and Reno.
Ms. Tomimoto received her BA in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.
