Bill Brinkman | Principal

Bill Brinkman is a Co-Founder and Principal at Bailey, Elizondo & Brinkman. He has been advising troubled companies and managing turnaround situations since 1992, and during that time he has represented various debtors, bank groups, and creditors. Mr. Brinkman has served as financial advisor - both in and out of bankruptcy court, interim CEO, Chief Restructuring Officer, court appointed Receiver and interim CFO on numerous occasions. His turnaround experience spans a wide range of industries including: manufacturing, distribution, retail, healthcare, agriculture, real estate, security alarm, and aerospace.

Prior to founding the firm, he was the founder of Jigsaw Partners, LLC, a boutique restructuring and turnaround firm that served troubled middle-market companies. In addition, Mr. Brinkman advised and worked closely with a middle-market equity sponsor -- focused on turnaround investments-- on numerous completed transactions where he managed financial due diligence and performance and process improvement.

Prior to Jigsaw Partners, Mr. Brinkman worked as a restructuring and turnaround professional at Nightingale & Associates, Baymark Strategies, and Coopers & Lybrand, where he provided corporate recovery and restructuring services to large and middle-market companies.

Mr. Brinkman was graduated Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University with a BA in Accounting, and he earned an MBA from the University of Chicago. He resides in Northern California with his wife and two children.
